Today, we are honoring our school nurse, Bethany King,
At Barren County Middle School, we know that students learn best when they are healthy, safe, and supported. Nurse King is at the heart of that mission every single day. Whether she’s treating a scraped knee, managing complex health needs, or just offering a kind word and a steady presence, her impact on our Trojan family is immeasurable.
Thank you, Nurse King, for your dedication, your expertise, and the compassionate care you provide to our students and staff.

May 4th-8th is National Music Week, and we are celebrating the incredible talent and dedication of our Trojan musicians! Whether it’s hitting the perfect note in choir, mastering a complex arrangement in band or orchestra, or taking the stage in our latest musical production, music is at the heart of everything we do.
Join us in thanking our dedicated music educators who work with our students—Susie & Byron Lucas, Abigayle Bryant, and Greg McCord—who inspire our students every single day.
