We are still humming along after the incredible holiday band and orchestra concerts held recently. From festive classics to complex arrangements, our students truly showcased the immense musical talent we have here in Barren County. 🎻🎺

Mrs. Mouser recently visited Mrs. Woods's classroom to lead a festive hands-on activity, teaching students how to create their own Christmas ornaments.
We are incredibly proud of the students in Mr. Guminski’s 8th Grade Project-Based Learning (PBL) classes! Yesterday and today, these students showcased their hard work by presenting their prospective career research projects to parents, teachers, and community members.
From in-depth research to professional presentations, these students went above and beyond to explore their future paths and share their findings with an audience. It was inspiring to see their passion and preparation on full display!

The BCMS PTSO will have the Santa Shop open for lunch on Wednesday and Thursday this week for students to shop for gifts. Help the students of our school by making purchases for friends and family at the small fees of $3 to $10 dollars.

BCMS Family and Community members we would like to welcome you to the Media Center to share hot chocolate and what we have discovered our future careers could be. On Dec. 16th or 17th from 11:05 am to 12:10 pm or 1:45 pm to 2:40 pm both days for our Job Fair by 8th grade Project Based Learning students. Students will showcase a wide variety of occupations they are interested in by giving you information and details of these jobs.

The BCMS and BCHS bands will be performing their Christmas concert this Thursday, December 11th at the high school auditorium.
BCMS PTSO is asking for donations of Christmas wrapping paper now through Dec. 17th. Please send new or gently used rolls of wrapping paper to school with your child anytime before Dec. 17th.

BCMS Students plan on attending the Holiday Hangout and Santa Shop on Dec. 10th until 5:30 PM in the BCMS gym. You may purchase gifts for everyone on your list for $3 to $ 10 each. All gifts will be wrapped and ready to go under the tree.

BCMS and BCHS Barren Beyond the Bell and the UK Extension Office are sponsoring a "Holiday Hacks" Parent Night on Tuesday, December 16th from 5:30-6:30 at the UK Extension office. Sign up is required.
