
The BCMS Wellness Committee will be supporting the community food drive. We encourage 7th grade students to bring in canned green beans or canned spaghetti sauce/spaghetti meals. We also encourage the 8th grade students to bring in peanut butter or jelly. Let's work together to help those in need!


The Fall Harvest Dance is this Friday, November 15th, from 3:30-5:30


Veterans Day program will be Monday, November 11th at 8 am in the gym. BCMS welcomes all veterans and their families.


A free Caregivers Luncheon will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15th at the Barren County Extension Office. This luncheon is for anyone raising a child other then their own. It will be an opportunity to meet others who are raising their grandchildren or other relatives. For more information, please contact your student's FRYSC.


BCHS Marching Band will be having a community performance at 5:30pm in the lot behind the TA Gym! There will also be a Spaghetti Supper for $8. The proceeds will go into the Band's spring Field Trip to Dollywood! This event will be held from 5:30-9pm. This will be the last performance before they travel to Cincinnati, Ohio this weekend!

Mrs Lucas and some of her students will be participating in the All State Choir in Lexington this weekend. We wish them the best of luck.

The BCMS YSC Advisory Council will be meeting on November 14th at noon in the Youth Service Center office at BCMS.

BCMS will celebrate Grandparents' Day tomorrow, October 29th!


It's a busy week at BCMS!


This year's Book Fair is going to be epic! More Books. More Choices. More Fun. It begins on Monday, October 28th and runs through Friday November 1st.


Grade cards and Kentucky Summative Assessment results are being sent home with students on Monday, October 28th.


The BCMS PTSO is sponoring a Fall Harvest Dance on November 15th from 3:30-5:30.


Ms. Thompson's English classes have been working on developing claims, evidence, reasoning, and counterclaims for argumentative essays. They then took part in a silent debate to practice strengthening and countering arguments.
