Are you tired of waiting in that long line during afternoon student pickup? By having one of the top 10 bids at the end of this PTSO fundraiser, you can skip the line by being able to pick up your student in front of the school! Barren Beyond the Bell is hosting an Intramural Volleyball League for all students in grades 7–12! Gather your friends, show off your skills, and join us for an exciting season of teamwork and competition. Transportation is provided to the Liberty Street Gym, and parents will pick up their kids at 5:00 p.m. at the Liberty Street Gym.

The BCMS Beta Club will hold its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 23, in the cafeteria. The meeting will last until 4:30 PM This is a great chance for both new and returning members to learn important information about the club and its upcoming events. Additionally, students interested in attending the Leadership Summit in Bowling Green can now pick up applications from any Beta Club sponsor. Applications for this event are due on Friday, September 19.

Mrs. Short, Mrs. Gosnell, and Mr. McGuire's 7th grade Social Studies classes went back in time to the Middle Ages in Europe! Students took on the roles of society as monarchs, lords and ladies, knights, and serfs.They took oaths of loyalty, and then had to protect and defend their manors against Viking attacks.
